Student Senate andﾠPhi Theta Kappaﾠis currently working on the flood relief effort to help the State of Iowa and its unfortunate victims. If you wish to be apart of this effort please contact Sima Dabir at 274-8733 ext. 1419. You may also place your name and contact information on a the Flood Relief sign-up sheet located outside of the Student Activities office (Mike Brown's office A427) located behind the campus cash machine in building A. Student Senate is a campusﾠwide student-run organization composed of students working together to promote cooperation and communication among the administration, the faculty, and student body. Student Senate is responsible for all recreation, social, and entertainment events that occur. Student Senate plans and coordinates activities on- and off-campus such as movie nights, treat days, WIT Idol, pool tournaments and much more. Student Senate is also comprised of the following committees:

The Activities Committee serves to provide programming that is fun and entertaining. Student Senate addresses the concerns of students through the Welfare Committee. The Legislative Committee tackles political issues and goes on lobbing trips to both Des Moines, Iowa and Washington DC.
