This
program is designed to prepare men and women for over-the-road tractor-trailer
driving employment. The course will consist of classroom instruction and
behind-the-wheel experience in trucks currently used by the transportation
industry.
By the end of the program, successful learners will have tested to earn
their Class A CDL.
DOT drug testing is required.

By the end of the program, successful learners will have earned their
CDL license.
- Copy of motor vehicle driving record
- Proof of actual Social Security card
- Current DOT physical
- Pass Drug and Alcohol test
- Minimum age requirements:
18 years old for
driving within Iowa
21 years old for
inter-state driving
Course length is five weeks.
Class is scheduled 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through
Saturday.
Classroom training is conducted on the Sioux City Campus, Corporate College, Room B153
